We acknowledge the Turrbal and Yuggera peoples, the Traditional Owners of the land where we gather for our symposium, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise their connection to Country and their role in caring for and maintaining Country over thousands of years.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU IN SUNNY QUEENSLAND!
The 7th International Symposium on Palaeohistology (ISPH) will take place 16—20 June 2025 at the University of Queensland (UQ, venue TBC) on the beautiful St Lucia campus in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. There are plenty of public transport options to reach the campus, including bus, train, and ferry. Explore more here. You can download the Translink app to plan your journey. It will be Aussie winter in June but you can expect nice and balmy weather in the 20°C's. Winter is the perfect time to visit Queensland, which otherwise gets very hot and humid in the Summer. We highly recommend visiting the Queensland Museum, which has a permanent palaeontology display, and the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha. Learn more about what to see and do in Brisbane here. |
Our 2025 logo features Diprotodon optatum, the largest marsupial to have ever lived. |
